Jeanne Elizabeth Winders passed away in San Luis Obispo, California on August 11, 2026 peacefully and surrounded by family. Born in Oakland, California on August 10, 1934, Jeanne spent most of her adult life living in Gilroy, California with the love of her life, Louis M. Winders, a Navy veteran who passed away in the year 2000. Together, they had a horse ranch and enjoyed traveling. Jeanne attended Berkeley High School and San Francisco State College. She was an amazing cook, accomplished artist, and an animal lover with an amazing sense of humor. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Diane Beaudet, Susan Diaz, Rick Diaz, Julie Guy, Jeff Guy, and granddaughters: Lalita Kelley Diaz, Katelyn Rose Guy, and K.
